Key Deliverables:

Marketing & Media Strategy:

  • Oversight and delivery of marketing campaigns and media strategy.

  • Review of brand identity and current market presence, to make recommendations on approach, structure and to establish requirements for new content. 

  • Define new marketing and media strategy, based on understanding of clients’ business and their long and short-term goals, to create a holistic media and communications approach. 

  • Delivery of strategy through production and deployment of content.  

  • Overseeing brand identity, formalising the look and feel across all media outlets virtual and real world. Including consultation on website strategy and UX Design.

  • Liaising with other service providers to deliver changes. 

  • As an example, led the marketing strategy for the 2016 Political Campaign of Aaron Gill, providing comprehensive media communications support.  

  • As a further example, led content creation and consulted on digital marketing strategy for a new theatre companies first production. Resulting in a sold out run and doubling of estimated profits.

  • Project managed a successful brand relaunch, repositioning Fortunis as a Venture Capital Firm. Contributing to a 373% growth in their science and tech impact fund.

    • Collaborating with Senior management and external creatives I led the redesign and production of the logo, website and other marketing materials. This included sourcing, hiring and managing creatives.

  • Introduced £2.25 Million in investments to the firm


Head of Client Services

DavidsonMorris Solicitors

I developed 4 new propositions aimed at attracting new and retaining existing clients; principally, establishing the Tier 1 Start-up and Innovator Visa client journey, including developing relationships with multiple Endorsing Bodies.  Positioning DavidsonMorris as a leader in this space.

Key Deliverables:

Client Development & Retention:

  • Delivering a 20% increase in conversion over a 2-month period, led competitor analysis of other immigration law firms, gaining insight into marketing, pricing and services. Contributed to the refinement of a package proposition for immigration law services.

  • Developed a client review and retention strategy by creating a comprehensive list of active clients, both private and corporate, and defining approaches for ongoing client care ensuring that DavidsonMorris proactively engages with clients.

Business Acquisition: 

  • Supported the shaping of a new proposition to support clients with Employment Law queries. Project managed the build-out of client acquisition packs, including call scripts and email templates specifically for this area of law which was new to DavidsonMorris.

Operational Set-up of Tier 1 Innovator and Start-up Visa:

  • Set-up the firm's approach to enable clients to apply via the changed visa regulations.

  • Developed relationships with the New Endorsing Bodies for the tier 1 Start-up and Innovator visa routes from initial contact to ongoing relationship management, a differentiator for Davidson Morris at this early stage. Onboarding of first clients under the new Tier 1 Scheme.

Management of the welcome team: 

  • Reworked phone and email scripts for clarity, enabling call handlers to respond to 30% more enquiries per day and enhancing customer experience.

  • Resulting in a 50% increase in paid telecons, I liaised with my team and fee earners to develop a protocol for booking them in otherwise free time; driving conversions and fee earning hours that otherwise might have gone unspent.

Service Provider / Partner Management: 

  • Enhanced the client proposition by creating a directory of trusted providers and partners including the creation, negotiation and agreement of new service contracts.

Content Management:

  • Brochure- copy writing, oversite of image selection, liaising with design team on layout. Photography- both headshot and action shots, and video production for use on social media and website featuring our new propositions e.g. employment.

With a unique approach to rapid content creation, ensuring clients had input over the process and final output, this enabled competitive pricing and immediate delivery of superior outcomes.
